# How to scan entry passes and mark attendance at an event

1. On your event admin dashboard, there is a button on the left hand side menu called 'Scan Entry Pass'. Only **Organizers and Event Volunteers** can access this.<br>

2. Open this link or share with volunteers. This page is mobile friendly and in case the scanner isn't working for your camera, you can also type in the code.<br>

For online events you just need to send the entry passes, no need to scan them, attendance gets automatically marked.
