Forums

Forums are a great place to start discussions which might have lesser messages but hold more importance, such as product support queries, product updates, etc. They are more search engine friendly.

Create Channel

You can create forums under different categories, such as:

  1. Product support

  2. Product updates

  3. Latest announcements

  4. Sharing resources

And more...!

  • Private Forums: These can be accessed only by the members and admins of this forum, it is invisible/inaccessible for everyone else.

  • Readonly Forums: These can be private or public. But only the admins

Forum Interactions

Once a forum is created all the members of the community can start interacting in there based upon their area of interest.

Emoji's are always an option to spice up the ongoing conversation

Invite Users

Public Forums: Share the url of the channel directly and people can join in

Private Forums: You can send them an invite and they will receive an email which requires their consent to join

Make someone an Admin

You can go to the list of members and make any user an admin of any channel

Tag Users

You can tag fellow techies and they will get a notification next time they land on to Commudle. Just type @ and select with arrow keys and press tab or select with mouse pointer.

Share Files

Share files with peer members within the channels and keep the conversation going.

Invite Members

Inviting someone to a forum is as easy as sharing an invite link or just puy their email to send them an invite.

Delete Channel

Go to forum setting from the settings button on the right and you're required to type "YES" in caps to confirm to delete the specific channel.
